I lost 24 stone to make my children proud but I hate how my body looks more now – I can’t bear to look at myself

LOOSING a significant amount of weight can transform your life.

When you are classified as morbidly obese weight loss is seen as good thing.

But this mum from New Jersey hated how she looked after she shed the extra pounds.

Anna, 28, had issues with her size since she was young.

“Anna has struggled with her weight since she was about four-years-old,” her mum revealed.

“No matter what we did or what doctor we saw she kept getting bigger and bigger.

“It was very frustrating for all of us,” she added.

At her biggest, Anna says she was both physically and mentally in pain, so opted to get weight loss surgery.

“The weight loss was slow at first, but walking helped kick it into high gear,” Anna shared.

When she finally reached her goal weight it was bittersweet, as she was left with so much excess skin.

“I feel disgusting and I hate my body.

“Everyone can see the skin on my arms shaking back and forth and see my thighs jiggle.”

She continued, “There’s more than one area on my stomach that over hangs, I feel that it looks like hamburger meat.”

In fact, Anna hated her body so much it was just as bad as when she was 24st heavier.

She finally got her desired body when she had her excess skin removed, revealing the true extend of her weight loss.

“I’m totally in awe of how my body looks now,” she said.

The mum shared that she is now able to go outside and have fun with her daughter, and is no longer ashamed to be seen in a bathing suit.
