My husband invited me to a restaurant and brought silly excuses when the time came to split the bill

A big surprise was waiting for me at the end of our dinner! For the continuation – see the article!

When we get married, a great number of problems occur which is quite normal since two individuals start a new life together. One of the main issues is, of course, the finances which should be discussed by the couple before they tie the note.

The financial problems are among those which can easily ruin a marriage and cause scandals. Today’s story is about one married couple who had a disagreement during their dinner at a restaurant.

One 30-year-old woman has shared an awkward incident which happened to her and her 32-year-old husband. To start with, she is a secretary and he is a police officer. They both have an income, but spend it in a different way.

The woman does everything rationally, while the man, as she mentions, is terrible with budgeting and frequently enjoys purchasing things without thinking about his bank account. One day, they decided to have a joint account and now the man saw a resource as a double up in his income.

The man started spending left and right without second thoughts and concern. He didn’t think about the future and simply didn’t care whether they would have enough money for the next day or not.

When the woman got frustrated, the man explained that having a joint account was actually a bad idea. Finally, they agreed that they should keep their own salaries but should pay for everything separately.

One day, the man invited the woman to a restaurant. He ordered several meals and desserts and when the time came to pay equally, the man curiously asked whether she was about to pay for his meals too explaining that he had spent all his money.

The woman was left speechless. She was quick to remind him of their recent agreement. She paid only for her meal and left the restaurant. In several hours, the man returned and claimed that his friend paid for him and accused her of being  mean.

The woman suggested that they should receive therapy and guess what? Here was his first question: «Who’s paying?
