Pregnant mom takes amazing picture — but look who shows up to the right

Dad-to-Be Captures Once-in-a-Lifetime Maternity Photo

For parents-to-be, taking pictures of the expectant mother’s baby bump is a wonderful way to capture the joy of starting a new family. These photos allow couples to remember the special time just before their child’s arrival.

Dan Mozer, 30, and his wife, Angelina, decided to take maternity photos at Atlantic Beach in Jacksonville, Florida, a popular spot for locals. Inspired by the beautiful setting, Dan asked Angelina to pose in front of the ocean waves. With a big smile, Angelina showed off her baby bump.

As Dan snapped pictures, something incredible happened. A dolphin leaped out of the water just as he took the shot! “When I took it, I was like, ‘Oh, my God!’” Dan recalled. Although Angelina missed the dolphin’s jump, the moment was perfectly captured on camera.

Dan and Angelina joke that their son, Courtland, who was born on January 27th, summoned the dolphin from his mother’s belly. “Someone started yelling to us that there were dolphins, and we could see their dorsal fins. Then, out of nowhere, this thing just jumps out of the water,” Dan explained.

The dolphin actually jumped twice, but Dan preferred the first jump’s photo. Despite suggestions, they decided not to change Courtland’s name to Dolph Finn.

This remarkable photo serves as a lasting memory of their magical maternity moment.
