Delivery Guy’s Note Saved Me from a Disastrous Marriage

When I ordered pizza while my fiancé was away, I didn’t expect it to change my life. Living with Jake, I thought we had a comfortable routine. Our evenings often involved pizza and movies, ordered from our favorite local joint.
Tom, our regular delivery man, usually greeted us warmly. But this time, he seemed uneasy as he handed me the pizza box. “Jake’s not here tonight?” he asked. When I replied, “Just me tonight,” he left quickly, leaving me unsettled.

In the kitchen, I found a message inside the box: “He is not who you think. Check your door camera.” With growing dread, I checked the footage and saw Jake welcoming various women while I was away. My heart sank with each clip.
When Jake returned, I confronted him with the evidence. He brushed it off, saying, “They’re just friends.” His dismissive attitude solidified my decision. “I can’t marry someone who thinks so little of me,” I declared. Jake left, and it was over.

Later, I thanked Tom. “You were right about Jake,” I said, and we agreed to meet for coffee. Tom’s kindness helped me move forward, showing me that sometimes, unexpected sources bring the truth.
