Surprise Visit to Son’s Restaurant

I decided to surprise my son, John, by visiting his restaurant. Wearing a simple dress, I entered, excited to see his success. A woman approached me and said, “This table is reserved for my boyfriend and me. You’ll have to move.” She added, “This table is meant for someone dressed more appropriately.” Feeling humiliated, I left quietly.

The next day, I prepared lunch for John and his girlfriend. When they arrived, I was shocked to see the same woman from the restaurant. John introduced her, saying, “This is Sarah.” Forcing a smile, I replied, “Nice to meet you.” During lunch, John mentioned Sarah wanted to buy a café and asked if I could lend them money.
I expressed my distrust, explaining how Sarah had treated me poorly. John was frustrated and didn’t believe me. Sarah denied everything and demanded, “If your mom doesn’t accept me, our relationship is over.” John chose Sarah, and they left. A month later, I attended the café’s opening with a plan. I recorded Sarah boasting about the money and her intentions, revealing her true colors to everyone. John was shocked and ended the relationship.

John later invited me to dinner at his restaurant and apologized. He acknowledged his mistakes, saying he had learned from the experience. Despite losing the money, John grew stronger and wiser. We enjoyed the evening, surrounded by friends and family, celebrating his growth.
