Singer electrocuted to death at concert after he got wet from hugging fan. The video is hard to watch

Tragic Incident

Brazilian rocker Ayres Sasaki, 35, died on stage in Salinopolis after being electrocuted. A fan in soaking-wet clothes hugged him during a live show, causing an electric shock from a cable. Sasaki died instantly. It is unclear how the fan got wet.


Investigation Underway
Police are investigating the incident. His aunt, Rita Matos, stated, “We will gather all the information in a statement that we will release to the press.” The Solar Hotel, where the concert was held, pledged support and cooperation with authorities.
Remembering Sasaki
Ayres Sasaki, also an architect and urban planner, is survived by his wife, Mariana. Friends praised his talent and passion for music. Singer Adriano Freitas said, “(He was) a super charismatic guy, his talent was incredible.” Sasaki was known as the “king of encores,” once performing for 12 hours straight.


Legacy
Comedian Natto Almeida remembered Sasaki’s kindness, saying, “What will definitely stand out about Sasaki is his good heart, very polite. I think this will be the lasting mark he leaves behind.
