Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes Slammed Online for Being ‘Irritating’ in the Stands at the 2024 Paris Olympics

Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes Criticized for Sunglasses at Paris Olympics

Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes, known for their private lives, faced backlash for their fashion choices during the 2024 Paris Olympics. Their appearance with their children drew mixed reactions online.

On August 4, Gosling and Mendes attended the dressage individual Grand Prix freestyle at Château de Versailles and the women’s uneven bars final at Bercy Stadium. Ryan wore a plaid red shirt, white Paris 2024 cap, and sunglasses, while Eva sported a black outfit with a sun hat and large sunglasses. Critics questioned their indoor sunglasses, with comments like, “The sunglasses. Why do ‘celebrities’ do this? It’s especially irritating when they are being interviewed.” Another added, “If you are trying to be incognito take your sunglasses off when inside watching gymnastics.”

Despite criticism, some fans defended the couple, praising them as a “cute couple.” Mendes, who stepped back from acting to focus on family, continues to support Gosling’s career while maintaining their family’s privacy. As Mendes explained, “I have always had a clear boundary when it comes to my man and my kids.”
