If you have these cupboards above your fridge, you had better know what they’re used for

If you’re anything like me, a tidy home is essential for focus. While I wasn’t always organized, my mother’s influence turned me into someone who values everything in its place—especially those small cupboards above the refrigerator.

These often-overlooked spaces can be incredibly useful for storing items you don’t use daily. Consider keeping infrequently used kitchen gadgets like blenders or waffle makers there. Canned goods and baking essentials with long shelf lives also fit perfectly. Cookbooks, pantry items, spices, and even fine china can find a home in these cupboards, keeping them out of reach from children.

A few tips: always use a sturdy stool when accessing these high cupboards, and be mindful of the fridge’s heat, which might affect some items.
