Rapper Dan Sur Had Surgery To Get Gold Chains Implanted Into His Skull

We sometimes hear about celebrities that will go the extra mile in order to do something unusual. This could sometimes include making body modifications, and a rapper named Dan Sur decided to do it in an unusual way.

Dan Sur did something unique, as he had gold chains surgically implanted into his head. More specifically, he had hooks implanted into his head so that he could hang the gold chains off of them.

The hooks, which were made of gold and silver were embedded into his skull underneath the skin. He can then hang the gold chains from the hooks in order to give him his unique look.

It was in April 2021 when the rapper underwent this unusual procedure. He has millions of followers on TikTok and shared the news.

He spoke about how the head chains work, saying: “I have it as a hook that is implanted in my head and that hook has hooks and they are all hooked in my skull, under my skin.

“This is my hair. Golden hair. The first rapper to have gold hair implanted in human history.”

It seems as if he wanted to do something different and he doesn’t want anyone to copy him.

That may be a reasonable request because a surgeon named Dr. Frank Agullo has also come forward to warn people against implanting things into their heads. Since it breaks the skin, it makes it easy for bacteria to enter and could even affect the skull or the brain.

He was also concerned about the weight that the hooks were supporting. If something were to accidentally tug on the chains, it could fracture the skull and dislodge the hook.

That isn’t even to mention the fact that he can remove the chains but he still has hooks sticking out of his head. These would cause permanent hair loss due to damage to the follicles.

So for now, he is the only one to have this unusual style of hair. It’s probably a good thing because it doesn’t seem like a very good idea.
