Trump Flips Arizona, Sweeping All

President-elect Donald Trump has been projected to win Arizona, securing victories in all seven key battleground states: Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada, and Arizona, bringing his Electoral College count to 312 votes. This substantial win underscores the strength of his campaign, especially after polling had shown a tight race against Kamala Harris, with Trump leading by an average of 2.8 points prior to Election Day.

In Arizona, spending reached unprecedented levels, with $487 million directed toward political campaigns in 2024, compared to $427 million in 2020. Democrats notably outspent Republicans in Arizona, dedicating $308 million to the state’s races compared to the GOP’s $147 million. For the presidential race alone, Democrats spent $122 million, while Republicans spent $83 million.

Senator J.D. Vance celebrated the GOP’s successful night, sharing a message of gratitude on X (formerly Twitter) to his family, President Trump, and supporters. He pledged to continue advocating for all Americans, expressing his commitment to serving at a high level in government.
