11-Year-Old Dies Because Of Online Trend – Now Family Issues Official Warning To Spare Others From The Same Tragedy

The consequences of adhering to trends that children see online are not always clear to them; they may not realise that some of these trends can be fatal.

Something terrible occurred to their small boy, and now his family is going through the worst sorrow imaginable. Others are now being warned. Read on to find out more…

The family of an 11-year-old kid is grieving the loss of a child who died as a result of a horrific online trend. So that no one else experiences what they have, the family is now trying to spread the word and encourage parents to have conversations with their kids.

Tragically, 11-year-old Tommie-Lee Billington of Lancaster, England, lost her life as a result of a disturbing tendency among young people on TikTok.

According to The Sun, this follows the deaths of two adolescent females who were taking part in the same “challenge” on the app.

On Saturday, it all began when Tommie, who was eleven years old, went to a friend’s house for a sleepover. The lads “huffed” in response to a TikTok challenge.

To do this, one must inhale toxic solvents or gases that provide an intoxicating effect. Glue, spray deodorant, and dry shampoo are a few examples.

The boy’s heart skipped a beat the second Tommie and his pal joined the TikTok bandwagon. His immediate demise was reported by the medical personnel. The terrible death of the 11-year-old has left his family in despair.

Sherry, his mum, has asked other parents to have a conversation with their kids and discourage them from using TikTok. “This cost my son his life from trying something other kids are doing,” she wrote on Facebook in her impassioned plea. Please talk to your children about the consequences of this. It is beyond me why anyone would even try this! It’s so dangerous!”

“I have never felt pain like this. My whirlwind. I just love you so much mate. My baby boy. You will forever be in my heart. I will make sure to the best of my ability that your name and your beautiful face will become the reason that other children’s lives will be saved and other families don’t have to suffer this deep, deep hurt,” she writes on her Facebook page.

Let Tommie rest in peace. As they go through this tough time, please know that you are in our prayers.

We must all do our part to get the word out about this critical issue so that no other kids follow this dangerous trend!
