Emmy-winning actress Marla Adams, best known for her role as Dina Abbott Mergeron on The Young and the Restless, has died at the age of 85 in Los Angeles. Born in Ocean City, NJ, on August 28, 1938, Adams began her career on Broadway in The Visit and appeared in Splendor in the Grass alongside Natalie Wood.

She gained early TV recognition in The Secret Storm (1968-1974) before landing her iconic role in 1982 on The Young and the Restless. Adams returned to the role several times, earning a Daytime Emmy in 2017 for her emotional performance.Fans and colleagues mourned her passing, remembering her talent and presence in both television and theater. Tributes poured in on social media, with messages like “Rest in peace, Marla Adams. You will be missed.” Her decades-long career leaves behind an enduring legacy in the entertainment industry.
