Catherine Zeta-Jones can’t hold back her tears: “He passed away today

Actor Treat Williams tragically passed away in a fatal motorcycle accident, sparking a wave of heartfelt tributes from celebrities mourning his loss and offering condolences to his family. His agent, Barry McPherson, confirmed the news on Monday, June 13, revealing that the beloved 71-year-old actor had succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash.

John Travolta was among the first to honor Williams, reflecting on their early days in Broadway productions like *Grease* and *Over Here*. Travolta shared, “Treat Williams and I began our careers together in New York, performing in *Grease* and *Over Here*. My thoughts are with you and your family, Treat. You’ll be remembered with love. Love, John.”

Catherine Zeta-Jones, who co-starred with Williams in *The Phantom* (1996), took to social media to post a touching tribute alongside a photo from the film, simply writing, “R.I.P. Dearest Treat.”

Kim Cattrall, who appeared with Williams in the TV movie *36 Hours to ie* (1999), was visibly shaken by the news. She tweeted, “I’m in shock! Farewell, dear Treat. My heart goes out to Pam, Gill, Ellie, and the entire family. You were an amazing friend and actor.”
