Trump’s blunt 7-word message to fans of Melania who believe he’s ‘not good enough’

During a White House event on November 13, Donald Trump delivered a blunt message after his wife, Melania, received a warm reception. The First Lady had just spoken at a signing for the “Fostering the Future” executive order.

Melania highlighted her work supporting children aging out of foster care. The order establishes an online hub and provides vouchers and grants for educational and career opportunities.

Taking the podium, Trump first commended Melania, noting her ability to speak five languages. He praised her as a “magnificent and very caring first lady,” acknowledging the audience’s affection for her.

The president then appeared to note the warmer reception she received. He humorously addressed comments from his supporters, joking, “Every time I get up and make a speech, they say we want our First Lady.”

He concluded the jest by quipping, “I say what the hell, I’m not good enough?” This remark highlighted the apparent contrast in the audience’s reactions.

In an unusual move, Trump later invited Melania to sign the executive order alongside him. The First Lady had lobbied for the initiative’s $25 million investment.

Children’s welfare remains a priority for Melania. She has previously criticized Vladimir Putin for abducting Ukrainian children and has since helped reunite eight children with their families.
