5-year-old courageously carries sister out of burning home, then rushes back to help other family members.

When 5-year-old Noah woke to find his Georgia home on fire, he didn’t panic. Instead, he acted quickly.

He first helped his 2-year-old sister escape through a window, then bravely went back inside to rescue the family dog.

After ensuring they were safe, Noah ran next door to alert his uncle. Together, they helped save six more family members.

The fire, which started in Noah’s bedroom, was caused by an overloaded electrical outlet.

Noah’s heroic actions earned him recognition as an honorary firefighter, a lifesavers award, and a letter from the governor of Georgia.

His grandfather said it best: “If it wasn’t for Noah, we may not be here today.”
