Super volcano Shows Signs of Waking, Scientists Say It Could Affect Entire Planet

Near Naples, Italy, the enormous Campi Flegrei caldera has raised concerns among scientists. Recently, occurrences of earthquakes, gas emissions, and ground deformation have suggested that this dormant giant may be awakening. Given its extensive history of devastating eruptions, it is understandable that the world is observing closely. Campi Flegrei, often referred to as the Phlegraean Fields, is a large volcanic area situated near Naples.
