MTV Reality Star Dead At 52

MTV Real World Star, Sarah Becker, has passed away at 52.

Becker, starred on season 5 of MTV’s “The Real World.” The show aired in 1996, in Miami. A family member told TMZ, Becker died of suicide at her home in Illinois, last week.

Becker moved back to Illinois to be a caretaker for her mom and sister. She was planning on making a move back to California in the future. She had mental health challenges and was injured in a skateboard accident.

Back on “The Real World” Becker worked in the comic book industry. She came to the show from La Jolla, California.

One of her most memorable moments on the show was when she brought a puppy back to the house. She named the puppy Leroy.

During this season, the cast members were given $50,000 seed money to start a business. Although the stars worked hard, there were several conflicts and all experienced failure to launch.

Sarah is remembered by her family as someone who took care of everyone else, other than herself.
