A blonde Jayne

A blonde bombshell for the ages, Jayne Mansfield came from Pennsylvania to Hollywood and she was a fast success. In February 1956, she starred in the The Girl Can’t Help It alongside rock and roll luminaries like Little Richard, Eddie Cochran, and Fats Domino.

Even with all the volatility of the 60’s, Mansfield career surged. She took a successful nightclub act on the road, she hung out with Anton LeVay from the Church of Satan, and she even appeared on USO shows with Bob Hope.

Mansfield died in a fiery car crash that cemented her legacy in Hollywood as babe who fell victim to the curse of fame. Even though she passed away in 1967 she lives on in everyone who remembers that this silver screen pin up was too hot to handle.
