World famous star dies in a freak horse accident.

Ace Patton Ashford, an 18-year-old rodeo roper, tragically died on August 12 in Chilton, Texas. While helping a sick calf, his horse got spooked, dragging him across a field. Though he was alive when found, Ace later died from his injuries at the hospital.

Just weeks away from starting college, Ace was passionate about rodeo and the outdoors. Loved by all who knew him, his obituary described him as a kind soul who never met a stranger. His tragic loss has left a deep impact on his family, friends, and the rodeo community.
