Today’s story is about Daniel and Elizabeth. One day, they were returning from the suburbs.

When they finally got home, the woman felt that the house was warmer than usual. Then, she heard the noise of running water. Daniel asked whether she left the faucet running. Elizabeth said that she was always careful about closing faucets.

He started to panic and asked her to fetch the laptop that he had left in the car. Elizabeth, however, declined. They soon realized that the noise was coming from their bathroom. Daniel rushed to check on his own and what he saw left him speechless.

Daniel saw Sophie, his mistress, and realized in what a disastrous situation he got into. He said in fury that his wife could come any minute. Sophie got surprised and started blaming him on lying to her all the time about being single. He made her hide somewhere.

The man rushed to tell his wife that the bathroom was flooding. He didn’t let her go there which seemed strange to Elizabeth. She, anyway, couldn’t wait and rushed to know what was wrong. Just imagine her surprise when she noticed wet footsteps leading to the spare room.

What is more, a pink towel sealed the whole truth. She immediately burst into tears and still couldn’t believe her eyes. She finally found enough courage and opened the closet door. Sophie was revealed. She begged Elizabeth to forgive her explaining that she didn’t know that he had a wife.

Elizabeth quickly learnt to contain her emotions and came up with a plan since they both were victims. Just imagine Daniel’s astonishment when Sophie revealed herself with the intention to no more keep secrets.

Daniel panicked even more and rushed to give Sophie the keys to his car making her leave the house. He couldn’t even let a thought that Elizabeth would know everything cross his mind. Sophie left, but Daniel couldn’t find his wife.

Soon, Elizabeth emerged from under the blanket and Sophie appeared at the window. She threatened Daniel that she could take his business and everything because of what he had done. Elizabeth filed for divorce and promised that she would get his business lawyer to draw up the papers.[/read]
