Melissa Sloan, a British mom with over 800 tattoos, shocked everyone by covering her facial tattoos for a viral photo, revealing a drastically different appearance.

Sloan, a tattoo addict, has spent about 10 years developing her extreme look, getting around three tattoos a week. Her obsession has led to estrangement from five of her seven children. Despite the extreme body modification, her youngest children, who live with her, are fans of her look. However, she struggles to find employment due to her tattoos. “I can’t get a job. They won’t have me,” she says, explaining that even a toilet cleaning job rejected her.
Sloan’s attempt to cover her tattoos didn’t go well with her family. “I put it on for about half an hour and when I went downstairs the kids freaked out because they didn’t like it,” she says. Her partner and even her dog reacted negatively. “It scared her,” she mentions about her youngest child. Despite this, she tried the look again, but kept her kids at bay to avoid frightening them.

Sloan admits that while viewers thought she looked better with makeup, she prefers her tattooed appearance. “It’s my life at the end of the day, I can just swap and change,” she says. Despite the mixed reactions, she remains committed to her unique look.
