Steve Harvey has been navigating a storm of rumors suggesting his wife, Marjorie, was unfaithful with their bodyguard and chef, sparking talk of a $200 million divorce. Despite the lack of evidence and official statements, the rumors gained traction in late August.
Addressing the speculation at Invest Fest in Atlanta, Steve dismissed the claims, saying, “I’m fine. Marjorie fine… find something else to do, ‘cause we fine.” He emphasized that he had no time for “rumor and gossip,” and expressed gratitude for his blessings.
Marjorie also took to Instagram to refute the rumors, writing, “My husband and I don’t usually stop to address all the foolishness… but with my platform comes some sort of responsibility.” Despite their denials, some remain unconvinced, prompting Steve to respond even more forcefully on The Steve Harvey Morning Show, declaring, “You’re not going to split us up… She’s the best chick I know.”
Steve’s comments followed a leaked conversation where his co-host, Shirley Strawberry, suggested he was “scared” of Marjorie. Strawberry later apologized, clarifying that her remarks were not meant to add to the Harveys’ challenges.
