Former supermodel posts bikini photos at 57 years old and gets called desperate – her response shocks critics

Former supermodel Paulina Porizkova, aged 57, defies ageist criticism by proudly posting bikini photos. Despite societal norms dictating older women should not flaunt their bodies, Porizkova challenges this notion. “I am a 57-year-old woman, and it seems to mean, in society, when you go into your middle age, you sort of lose your license to be able to show up in bikinis too,” she remarked.

Porizkova, known for her honesty about aging, also shared her journey through grief after the death of her husband, Ric Ocasek. Reflecting on their strained relationship before his passing, she admitted feeling insecure about aging affecting their connection. Yet, she emphasizes cherishing memories over dwelling on regrets.

Advocating for natural aging, Porizkova encourages women to embrace their wrinkles and sagging skin rather than resorting to cosmetic procedures. She sees her aging face as a testament to her life’s story. Her message resonates with women of all ages, promoting self-acceptance and celebrating the beauty of growing older.
