Ángel Salazar, best known for his role as Chi Chi in the 1983 cult classic *Scarface*, has passed away at the age of 68. Salazar, who played Al Pacino’s loyal sidekick in the film, “died in his sleep over the weekend at a friend’s home in Brooklyn,” according to his agent and close friend, Ann Wingsong.

Beyond *Scarface*, Salazar had a notable acting career, appearing in films like *Punchline* with Tom Hanks and reuniting with Pacino in *Carlito’s Way*. His work in these films showcased his versatility as an actor, earning him recognition in Hollywood.
