Opens Up About Son’s Tr.agic

Rick Harrison, star of Pawn Stars, is mourning the loss of his son Adam, who tragically passed away at 39 from a suspected fentanyl overdose. Rick confirmed the news, stressing the urgency of addressing the fentanyl crisis in the U.S. The Las Vegas Metro Police Department has launched an investigation, while the Harrison family, through spokesperson Laura Herlovich, expressed deep sadness and requested privacy as they grieve.

Though Adam was not on Pawn Stars, he worked at the family’s Gold & Silver Pawn Shop before the show aired in 2009. Rick shared a touching tribute on Instagram, posting a photo of them together with the message, “You will always be in my heart! I love you, Adam.”

Fentanyl-related deaths have been sharply rising, with CDC data showing a 56.6% increase from early 2020 to 2021. Heartfelt condolences go out to the Harrison family.
