LA Man Who Doxxed ICE Agents, Revealed Raid Locations Now Faces Potential Charges

A man from Los Angeles, who utilized his X account to reveal the identities and locations of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), resulting in targeted violence aimed at hindering immigration enforcement actions, has indicated that he may soon face criminal charges.

Jack Quillin has been identified as the purported owner of the “LAScanner” X page, which provided rioters with a real-time map of ICE staging areas and raid targets as they unfolded.

Federal agents were initially assaulted by rioters while executing immigration enforcement operations in the Los Angeles fashion district on Friday night, when a large mob converged on their position and proceeded to attack. The agents were subsequently encircled in a federal building while the Los Angeles Police Department took over two hours to respond.

Coordinated assaults persisted on Saturday, as federal agents faced ongoing attacks while preparing for a raid in the community of Paramount. Several ICE agents sustained injuries when rioters hurled large rocks at moving vehicles, resulting in shattered windshields.

In addition to revealing the locations of federal staging areas and raid targets, the LAScanner account also doxxed individual agents. This included their identities, home addresses, names of family members, and their current hotel accommodations.

Quillin, who has a felony stalking conviction on his record, seemed to acknowledge that he was managing the account before deactivating it on Saturday night. Prior to doing so, Quillin attempted to retract his days-long doxxing campaign by asserting that he did not intend to incite violence.

“LA25 riots are getting WILD,” LA Scanner posted last night as the third consecutive day of rioting in Downtown Los Angeles intensified. “I genuinely hope this doesn’t end in anybody losing their life — but it’s starting to feel like it might,” he wrote in another post before resuming regular doxxing activities.

As rioters persistently threw large boulders and Molotov cocktails at the officers of the LA County Sheriff’s Department from an overpass overlooking the Route 101 Freeway, Quillin deactivated the LaScanner account and indicated that he may soon face criminal charges.

“I wish to extend a formal apology. I should not have disclosed the locations of ICE raids, and I will refrain from doing so in the future. I have reached out to the authorities to accept responsibility, and they are currently assessing my account to ascertain if any laws were violated,” Quillin stated. “If it is determined that I have breached the law, I will fully cooperate and surrender myself.”

He further asserted that he is now experiencing the same doxxing tactics that he previously employed against others. “To anyone I may have endangered, I genuinely apologize. That was never my intention.”

The account deletion occurs as new information continues to surface regarding the origins and funding sources of the ongoing riots affecting Los Angeles County.

One of the primary organizations accused of instigating the riots is a taxpayer-funded activist group, while another is associated with the Chinese Communist Party, as reported by Data Republican.

The latter, known as the Coalition of Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA), received tens of millions of dollars in government grants during Joe Biden’s presidency. CHIRLA organized a rally last week, vocally opposing the Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations that are apprehending illegal migrants throughout the city, including individuals with convictions for heinous, violent crimes.
